LETTA Early Career Teacher Induction Offer
Early Career Teachers will receive an offer of training and support that enables them to understand and apply
the knowledge and skills set out in each of the Early Career Framework (ECF) evidence (‘learn that’)
statements and practice (‘learn how to’) statements. The LETTA offer is framed around themes that are linked
to the Early Career Framework and the content will be delivered via a combination of face-to-face training,
live webinars, tutor support, conference events and online study materials.

DfE Fully-funded Induction Programme
The LETTA ECT offer embeds a funded full induction programme delivered in partnership with East London
Teaching School Hub. This includes e-learning resources, mentor development, support for schools to
implement the new Early Career Framework and regional networking opportunities. This entitlement meets
the statutory expectations set out in the ECF and comes at no cost to schools.

Cost

The cost for the first year of the LETTA Enhanced Early Career Teacher programme including Appropriate body fees is £995. The cost for the second year of the LETTA Enhanced Early Career Teacher programme including Appropriate body fees is £425. You will be invoiced at the start of each year.

If the ECT remains at your school then an additional cost for the second year of the LETTA Enhanced Early Career Teacher programme including Appropriate body fees is £425. You will be invoiced at the start of each year.

If you are signing up a 2nd year ECT who is new to your school and only needs to complete the 2nd year of induction the cost is £700. This includes the 2nd year enhancement and appropriate body fee - you will find this as a separate booking.

How to establish respectful behaviour leadership at the outset of a new class; How to address the range of distracting and disruptive behaviours in a class group; Core skills; How to utilise encouragement and build classroom cohesion; How to use behaviour consequences with special reference to restorative practice; Addressing challenging behaviours; Behaviour support. Bill Rogers brings together extensive experience and contributions from practising teachers that suggest ways to tackle very challenging behaviour in schools such as bullying, violence and behaviour disorders. Bill will explore the reality and extent of ‘behaviour disorder’ as a phenomenon in mainstream schools (with special reference to ADD / ADHD spectrum behaviours), supporting teachers who have such student behaviours in their classes, behaviour management and discipline practice and much more. Bill Rogers taught for many years before becoming an education consultant and author; he lectures widely on behaviour management, discipline, effective teaching, stress management and teacher welfare across the UK and Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Bill also works as a mentor-teacher, team-teaching in challenging schools. He is well aware of the challenges of teacher leadership in schools today. His most popular and best-selling book Classroom Behaviour has been translated into several languages in its various editions and is the behaviour bible for teachers.
